The Tick

Sadly the end is here for The Tick. Fox has declined to order further episodes of the series. Originally eight episodes were ordered and produced. The final appearance of the blue bug of justice will air on January 24th.

This makes the third time that Fox has cancelled a Tick series. First it was the wildly popular animated series because it wasn't reaching the demographic they wanted for that time period. There was another still-born series and finally this live action one that gets the axe. It brings into question the thought process at Fox that they keep dragging out this concept and then killing it prematurely.

Fans who want to lodge a complaint with the network should send a (polite) letter to:

Sandy Grushow
Chairman of Fox TV Entertainment Group
10201 W. Pico Blvd.
Building 100, Room 5110
Los Angeles, CA 90035
