Dennis Hopper is in negotiations to join the cast of the series 24. It would be a recurring role. He would be playing the mastermind behind behind the plot of the assassination of a presidential candidate that is at the center of the series. That basically makes him Kiefer Sutherland's nemesis for the remainder of the season.
This will come as a surprise to fans who have previously not been aware of this character's presence in the series.
