Lost In Space
Not long ago it was reported that NBC had ordered a script from Kevin Burns for a pilot to a potential new Lost In Space mini-series. We just got this report from LIS-WIC on the project.
"Kevin, can you tell me is there any news on the status of the NBC/LIS miniseries project and is there any projected dates for the release of Irwin Allen Shows on DVD via Fox Entertainment ?"
"We're in the process of closing a deal with Brent Maddock and Scot Wilson ("Short Circuit" and "Tremors") to write the MOW (Movie of the Week for TV) based on my treatment (which they have cleverly revised). The network has approved the story and we are currently scouting for a director.
As for the DVD's - we are meeting with Fox Home Entertainment tomorrow to put forward a marketing strategy. (Wish us luck).
