Surviving Oedipus

It doesn't sound like there will be any shortage of strange characters on the show. According to the NY Post, contestant Debb Eaton has a rather odd relationship with her stepson.

When Eaton's second husband died in 1997 she started a relationship with his son. He is eleven years younger than she is. The pair are secretly engaged to be married.

"If Don were to return from the grave and see what's going on, he'd be very upset. It's just plain wrong," says Auburn, N.H. Police Chief Edward Picard, who is Don's former boss. "It doesn't matter if Debb was a stepmom or a real mom - Bobby is her son and Debb is his mom. They've shocked and alienated a lot of people with their affair. It's not incest technically - but it's awfully close."
