Help us out by clicking to visit our sponsors 2 October, 2000 Slushy the Snowman You're going to love this one. How would you like a heartwarming holiday movie about an alcoholic snowman? That's exactly what Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski are planning with their script for Slushy the Snowman. It will be a low budget animated feature for a possible Christmas 2001 release. In the movie, we see that Christmas has become so over commercialized that retailers have actually created Christmas II. This version of the holiday appears in July for the purpose of creating another spending frenzy every year. A dim witted Slushy attempts to teach kids the true meaning of Christmas but finds himself under the thumb of a liquor company instead. Alexander says, "It's a parody of every Christmas special you saw as a kid. What Airplane! was to disaster movies, this is to Christmas entertainment." They hope to earn a PG rating. "Slushy is cyncial, but he's not dirty," said Alexander. Thanks to Variety.
