No? Then consider this bit of news. Columbia Pictures has hired writer Simon Davis Barry (The Art of War) to write a second sequel to the lackluster slasher flick I Know What You Did Last Summer. The question why immediately springs to mind. The original movie did a respectable $72 million at the box office but its sequel managed only $40 million. That means this one will have to be produced pretty cheaply to have a serious shot at being profitable. Give Columbia some credit though. They obviously thought of that. This installment will feature a completely new cast (that means cheap unknowns). They will have to battle some deranged killer while treking through the wilderness. Thanks to Variety.
