Scary Movie II

Welcome to Hollywood where no one ever walks away from a well before it has been completely sucked dry. Comments like that bring one word to mind: sequel. This time around Dimension Films is the culprit as they announced that they intend to make a sequel to the surprise hit Scary Movie.

Back for the sequel will be director Keenan Ivory Williams and his two brothers Shawn and Marlon, who will write and star in it. Also returning are producers Eric L. Gold and Lisa Blum.

"We are thrilled to have Keenen, Shawn, and Marlon Wayans return for Scary Movie II," said Dimension head honcho Bob Weinstein. "They are incredibly talented and we look forward to enjoying future successes with them." Keenen Ivory Wayans said, "Shawn, Marlon, and I are very proud of the success of Scary Movie and our partnership with Dimension. We look forward to continuing our fruitful relationship."

Personally I look forward to an original movie instead of yet another money grubbing sequel.
