Superman 5 (2003?)

Plot:  Who knows? This was once going to be based on the Death of Superman story. It is suspected but not confirmed that it has now been jetisoned.

News:

This movie almost defines development hell. It has had a long list of writer, stars and directors attached to it over the years but hasn't gotten any closer to actual production. Now another set of names has popped up for it.

Charlie's Angels Director, McG, set to direct new superman movie... revived, once again, from the ashes of movie hell.....Sean Penn considered for a major role....

Someone shoot me. Next thing we'll hear is that Bosley is Superman's new sidekick and that Superdog will play a leading role.

Aauugh.
