While we're at it, the good folks at Sony sent along another one of their new aliens for you to admire. This one is called Flapjack.

FlapjackName: Flapjack
Earth Name: Jack
Age: 56
Height: 4'9"
Weight: 140 lbs.
Health: Medium
Armor: Weak
Speed: Medium
Bio Information: Flapjack first made his B-movie theatrical debut in 1959. Since then, he's appeared in numerous roles as a space alien, precisely the role his was born to play. Flapjack comes from the farthest reaches of the Andromeda system, where conventional physics do not apply. It is difficult to tell which end of his is up, as each end has a pseudo-pod that can be used for walking. Experienced MIB agents can tell you that the thinner half is where Flapjack's head is. Flapjack happens to be a big celebrity on his home planet, and he always shows off his latest movie to his adoring fans. Flapjack may have a lot of fans on Earth, but they'd never suspect that he was a real alien. Sometimes the best way to hide something is right out in the open.

Sony is releasing some early looks at the movie's aliens on their official website but they were kind enough to send us one a little early. Meet Mosh Bulb.

Mosh BulbAge: 234
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 245 lbs.
Health: Medium
Armor: Strong
Speed: Medium

Bio Information: This rowdy and cantankerous individual hails from the jungle planet Doldunn, where the plant-life dominates the world. Mosh Bulb himself is a sentient plant, with chlorophyll instead of blood. The bodies of your average Doldunnian are short and squat. Their skin is green with small red hairs that can absorb sunlight. The most noticeable feature is the huge dangling bulb at the end of their nose, which contain seeds for creating more of their race. Mosh Bulb was incarcerated by the MIB for killing a man who accidentally ate some of his seeds (The victim thought they were sunflower seeds). This is just one incident where misunderstanding has occurred between the Doldunnians and Earthlings. Mosh Bulb is being held until a representative of his planet arrives.

Even more word from 'The Mole' on this sequel:

"Men In Black 2" reshoots: shot the other day in front of Plaza Hotel, then was to do night shots in Greenwich Village at St Mark's Place. This may be for several nights, look for orange cones and paper no parking signs which will list either the movie title or name of production company.

Here's 'The Mole' with more word on what's going on in the Big Apple.

Detective Movie Buff hears of re-shoots for "Spiderman" "Men In Black 2" and "Stuart Little 2." How and when these will be done remains to be seen as the city still isn't issuing film permits for Manhattan indefinitely, though there is talk that eventually some filming can take place only in areas above Houston Street. Heard that the "MIB2" shots may simply be plate shots of the Chrysler building which will be inserted in place of the original World Trade Center shots, but there's no telling how long the filmmakers want to wait either to return to Manhattan which has no Police to spare for filming at this time. They are permitting filming in the outer boroughs, but only for projects that don't require NYPD assistance.

According to Variety, production has been delayed due to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. While part of the movie was shot in New York, that part of production had been completed. However the problem is that the ending of the movie was centered around the World Trade Center. "There was a scene set against the background of the World Trade Center, and given yesterday's tragedy, we are now in the process of looking at alternatives," said a Sony Pictures spokesperson.

Famke Janssen has backed out of the production after one day of shooting. She left the project due to an illness in her family. Replacing her is Laura Flynn Boyle of TV's The Practice. She will take over the part of Serleena, the movie's lead villain.

Our very own Deadpool infiltrated deep into the bowels of Columbia Pictures to ferret out a copy of the script to this highly anticipated sequel. Here's a piece of his review:

Is it as good as the first one? Almost, I feel this screenplay is almost a rehash of the original movie. The alien plot is almost the same except for the fact that there is not an alien vessel threatening to destroy Earth. Still it didn't bother me that much. The story is fast paced and you don't need to be a brain surgeon to understand the science-fiction elements. Again the humor is intelligent and well placed through out the action packed narrative. Most of the laughs comes from Kay's return to the MIB world. I'm sure some people will find it bizarre, but Tommy Lee Jones has a funnier role than Will Smith. Big Willie is more of the lead in this film but still has some extremely funny moments too. I don't think Barry Sonnenfeld will have too many problems adapting this script to perfection. What is really interesting about this draft is that there are two endings. The first one is truly interesting and will lead the door open for a surprising third installment while the second finale is your typical blockbuster finish. I'm really curious to see which one they'll use. Come on SONY go for the first one!!!

Rosario Dawson (Josie and the Pussycats) has been added to the cast. She will be playing Will Smith's love interest in the film.

Patrick Warburton, best known for playing Puddy on Seinfeld, told About.com that he has a part in this movie. "Barry Sonnenfeld's offered me a role in Men in Black 2 which I'll do in just a few months, two or three months. [I'll play] Will Smith's first partner after Tommy Lee Jones. It's a good role in the first 10, 15 pages of the script," says Warburton.

Will Smith was interviewed on Access Hollywood last night. He said that he has just read the script for Men In Black 2 and called it brilliant. He also said that the story was about an intergalactic war and would take them off planet for awhile. In case you're wondering, Smith is signed for the sequel. He himself said he's "all signed up" for it.
