It looks like David Fincher's (Fight Club, Panic Room) next project will be Mission: Impossible 3. He is currently in final negotiations to direct the sequel for Paramount Pictures.
Tom Cruise will reprise his role as agent Ethan Hunt. No other details were released at this time.
