News: 25 November, 2001 Barry Levinson has agreed to take the director's chair for a biographical film focusing on the life of the French general Marquis de Lafayette. At just 18, he was a major force in the American Revolutionary War. “I love historical pieces,” writer Dan Gordon said. “And this is a story that no one has ever told. He was one of the biggest heroes of the American revolution and at the same time found the father he never had in Washington. ...
