Tarantino's long-awaited Kill Bill finally appears to be getting underway, and here's the first shot of Uma Thurman in her "avenging samurai" regalia. She is also reported to be wearing Bruce Lee's famous jumpsuit from Game of Death, his last film, in the upcoming movie. Click Here to see it.

Add three more to the cast of the film. Vivica A. Fox, Michael Jai White and LaTanya Richardson are all in final negotiations to join Tarantino's new film. Fox will play the role of Vernita, an assassion on the heels of Bill. White would play a character named Alburt and Richardson would play one named L.F. O'Boyle.

Warren Beatty has dropped out of the production. "I really want to work with Quentin, and the script is terrific, but the part has grown, and the schedule and locations for me would now take so much more time than originally planned that I’m just not going to be able to do it," said Beatty.
David Carradine is now the favorite for the role according to the director. "Warren Beatty and (pro-ducer) Lawrence Bender and I were having dinner, and Warren said, ‘Why haven’t you gone to David Carradine with this role?’ and it became mutually obvious that this wasn’t the one for me and Warren to do together, but it was the one for me and David Carradine. I’ve been talking to Warren for a really long time about this role, and I totally expect to make another movie with him," said Tarantino.

After a lengthy hiatus, Quentin Tarantino is getting ready to direct again. His latest project is called Kill Bill. It tells the story of a woman (Uma Thurman) who is shot by her husband (Warren Beatty). Years later she wakes from a coma and sets about getting her revenge, which means going through his shady associates.
Daryl Hannah has just signed onto the cast and will play Bill's second in command. Lucy Liu is in final negotiations and would play Oren Ishi, the head of the Yakuza. Michael Madsen has been cast as Bill's brother. Also considering a role is Jacqueline Bisset.
Production will start in June with locations in California, Japan, China and Mexico. Tarantino will be working from his own script.
