17 January, 2002 Gary Sinise has joined the cast of this film. He will play a novelist Nathan Zuckerman who investigates the life and death of Coleman Silk (Anthony Hopkins). He learns that the man was full of dark secrets. Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin on March 25 on the East Coast. The movie is based on Pulitzer Prize winning author Philip Roth's novel about a light skinned black college professor who has spent his life pretending he was Jewish.
