Highlander 5: The Source (????)Plot: Unknown News: 18 September, 2001 Rumors persist that a fifth installment in the Highlander series of movies will be made. Dark Horizons reports that producers let slip at a recent convention that both Adrian Paul and Christopher Lambert were signed for another movie. They also said that Elizabeth Gracen, Paul Wingfield and Jim Byrnes had signed on as well. Furthermore they were approaching Timothy Dalton and Roger Daltry for cameo appearances and were considering wooing back Lisa Barbuscia as well. If you're a fan and confused as to how Lambert could be in the movie, it is likely that his role would be fairly short, appearing only in flashbacks. What do you think? Talk about it on the Forums 30 August, 2001 The Movie Hole web site reported a rumor that Dimension Films is readying a fifth installment in the Highlander movie series, to star Highlander television series lead Adrian Paul. The fifth film, to be called Highlander: The Source, would reportedly be directed by Russell Mulcahy, who helmed the first Highlander film in 1986. I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I though Endgame was finally a really good Highlander sequel. So maybe they can get it right again. But on the other, this would be completely without Cristopher Lambert, who is in my mind, the real Highlander. But I am stoked that Mulcahy is behind the camera again. Say what you will about his movies, but his visual style is real nice. Reported by Ultra Magnus.
