The movie based on the role playing game that doesn't have any particular plot. Now this was a great idea too long in arriving! Coming Attractions reports that casting is underway in London. The basic storyline is an Empress and a party of companions searching for a magic rod to end injustice and inequality. Magic rod? Somebody sure has a high opinion of themselves.

25 February, 1999

The movie will start production shortly. It has a $27 million budget and has hired Station X Studios for the special effects. Apparently there will be a fight scene at the end involving numerous dragons.

Courtney Solomon will direct the adaptation of the role playing game for Sweetpea Entertainment and Silver Pictures. The script, by Topper Lilien and Carroll Cartwright, is about an evil wizard who attempts to dethrone a young new empress because of her belief in equal rights between commoners and aristocrats. To assist her, a common thief and a young sorceress set out to find an ancient artifact that will help them save the kingdom. Wow, social equality and magic artifacts, this should be great!
