Farscape, Vol. 3 -- exact same format as the first two discs, with two episodes, each with a commentary and extra footage, a character profile, and production stills. The first episode is "Back and Back and Back to the Future" -- After rescuing two aliens from their disintegrating ship, Crichton and D'Argo fall victim to effects brought on by the presence of the alien female. Soon, Crichton experiences "future flashes" where she attacks him, both sexually and fatally. Is Crichton losing his mind? On "Thank God It's Friday...Again", Moya's crew follows D'Argo to the planet Sykar, where they find a strange, almost Utopian society centered around a certain plant. Sure enough, things are not all fine and dandy, and Crichton finds the Uncharted Territories to which they've escaped are not quite as uncharted as they seemed. |

The Complete Superman Collection -- all four films, finally on bright, shiny little discs. You can buy them individually, or get them all for less than sixty bucks. Only the first is a special edition, however. With that one comes: trailers, previously unseen footage added by Director Richard Donner, 4 behind-the-scenes docs, commentaries, screen tests, deleted scenes and much more. Surprising that the second didn't get as much attention, since it's widely regarded as the best. Either way, these flicks (well, at least the first two) prove Christopher Reeve is a badass. And with the set priced so low, you're basically getting the last two for free, which is about right. |

The Emperor's New Groove -- this comes two ways, as a very loaded regular edition, or a 2-disc, super-loaded Ultimate Edition. I could sit here and run down the features for you, but trust me, it's everything you could ever think of, and I don't have that kind of time. It's intense. It's more Groove than you ever need, but I'm glad to see it, because this is probably Disney's best animated flick in years. And the story behind the four-year production is almost as entertaining as the movie itself.

Miss Congeniality -- A taylor-made role for Sandra Bullock, who does make it bearable with her pleasant persona, but it's really nothing more than fluff. But hey -- it does have Bill Shatner! Comes with commentary by Sandra Bollock and co-screenwriter Marc Lawrence, commentary by director Donald Petrie, trailers, two behind-the-scenes documentaries. |

Threesome -- I really liked this movie about eight years ago...I was still in high school and Stephen Baldwin was sort of cool. Then he did Bio-Dome...anyway, it probably hasn't aged that well, but it's one of the first looks at ultra-sexy Lara Flynn Boyle. Premise is three roommates - a straight guy, a gay guy, and a babe. Mayhem and sex ensues. Total bare-bones treatment. |
