Day 99: The Not So Great One

This is the burdock plant. It's a nasty weed that grows prolifically in my yard. I can't stand these things. Sure, I've made it look pretty here but then they dry out and those little hooks catch on everything. These things were apparently the inspiration for velcro. But velco isn't anywhere near as effective at sticking as this stuff. There's nothing more annoying than trying to pry those things out of a dogs coat or your own sweater. Naturally these are growing in a spot the mower can't reach. Ugh.
