Day 94: Evening Primrose

This evening I took a little trip to a friend's house to check out these fascinating flowers. Each flower blooms for one night only. That's right, night.
After the sun sets and it starts getting dark, these flowers bloom rather suddenly. It's like watching time lapse photography, except live. This photo is the flower just before it opens up.
I shot a ton of video of them opening up and I'll post it up as soon as I can edit it all together.
