I have a cheap tripod.  It's served me well for years but it was a cheapie model that I picked up at WalMart.  This was the second time that I wished for something better.  Taking a photo of a really distant object makes tiny movements highly exaggerated in the image.  And the tiny movement of the camera's shutter opening was enough to create just a minute movement in the entire camera because the cheap tripod can't suppress it.  And it would show up in the picture as motion blur.

Eventually I piled enough heavy objects on the camera and tripod to quell that motion and allow me to take this fairly crisp shot of the moon.  But it definitely has me mentally shopping for a new piece of equipment.
